HairDressor is a membership based marketplace to get a haircut at home, office or hotel at your own convenience when you want, this is an on demand haircut services delivered right to your door at your fingertip by one of our expert hair stylist who comes to your home, office or hotel to do your haircut.

How does it work?

Simple & Easy you log into your account, find a hair stylist that matches your criteria to book an in-home hair service instantly through our website or HairDressorapp. Select a local Pro based on their bio, reviews, and photos of past work. Then, kick back and wait for a knock at the door.

How many of level of Hair cut services do HairDressor offer?

We offer three level of subscriptions for a one monthly subscription fees reoccurring every month at $4.95 which is a nominal fee for the service we offer.

What hair services does HairDressor provide?

We offer a full list of Hair Salon services that you find on our website and in the app. You can book full Hair Cuts, Stylist Cuts, for Men, Women and Kids.

What do I look for in a Hair Stylist?

Most clients look for Hair Stylist who have the following requirement:

1. The experience to cut your hair with ease.
2. A track record of client’s satisfaction.
3. All Local States’ Certifications in full compliance.

You can answer these questions by reviewing a Hair Stylist’s HairDressor profile, which each Hair Stylist has, it include work experience and prior client’s feedback and their recommendation stars. You may also want to look for our Top Rated and Rising Hair Stylist who then fit for your perfect need.

How do I hire a HairDressor’s Hair Stylist?

After you sign up, find a Hair Stylist and click the “Book Now” button to get started.

Does HairDressor screen Hairstylist?

Yes, we do screen our Hairstylist for their authentication and we have several measures in place to ensure HairDressor is a fair and reliable marketplace.
We use multiple means to verify that the Hairstylist are who they say they are. Information is also displayed that gives you a sense of each person’s skill level. In part, this includes:

  • Authenticating email addresses
  • Background Research
  • Displaying each Hair Stylist’s Job Success score and feedback on past projects
  • Providing results of online skills tests

Ultimately, it’s your responsibility to screen prospective Hairstylist to make sure their skills and experience meet the needs of your HairDressor or beauty.

How do I apply to join the HairDressor?

You can fill in the ‘Become a Hair Stylist’ application form and upload your CV. Make sure to add as much details as possible. Once you submit the application a member of our recruitment team will be in touch with you to discuss the details. Click here to for more details

How do I book an appointment?

Simple and Easy to book an appointment. First, either download our app and book a date and time or log into your account to book appointment for your desired hair service anywhere in the California. You can schedule a haircut, hair color, a blowout, manicure and pedicure or anything you prefer to pamper yourself in as little as 60 minutes.

How long will my appointment normally take?

This is completely up to you, all depend on how many services you request at the time of your booking and this may vary. A simple haircut takes approximately 30 minutes.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes. All appointments can be rescheduled with up to twelve-hour prior notice.

What is HairDressor’s cancellation policy?

Services cancelled within four hours of an appointment will incur a 50% cancellation fee. However, we give clients a 10-min grace period after booking to cancel without fees. We hate fees, but this is essential in order to compensate your Pro, who schedules their day around your appointment.

How does my cancellation of an appointment works?

We recommend you a 12 hour prior notice to cancel your scheduled appointment date and time please remember the stylish have to get ready with all preparations and due COVID-19 we are currently overbooked.

How does my refund is adjusted?

If your cancellation is 12 Hours prior to your hair cut appointment then you get 100% refund to your account or credit card.

What happens if I cancel an existing appointment?

Remember all last minute cancellation of your appointment within 12 hours of the appointment time, there will be a 60% charge of the total booking amount. The remaining balance will be refunded either to your wallet account or directly into your bank account based on your preference.

Who cleans up after the appointment?

Our hair experts are professionals. While performing the service, they ensure that you are draped with a gown and that the floor is covered with a groundsheet. Once the appointment is complete, they clean up! A miniature vacuum is used to rid your floor of any mess.

How will I be notified with the hairstylist is about to arrive?

We are the Ubers of on demand hair salon and we want you to be aware of the whole process. So, you get either email, text notifications will be sent on the day of your appointment. These notifications are sent as reminders to alert you of your hairstylist’s arrival.

How can I communicate with the hairstylist?

Before your mobile hairstylist arrives at your desired location, their contact information will be provided. This will be given 5 hours before the set time.

How do I prepare for the appointment?

Preparation? Our hair experts typically take care of everything. All we need is access to a well-lit room, an outlet for plug-in tools, as well as a table, to display tools. Once we have this, we’ll take care of everything else.

How much time does my appointment take?

Depending on the in-home hair services chosen, the duration of the appointment can vary. However, the stylist will provide exact timings for your hair session.

How do I know if HairDressor Safe?

Of Course! Your safety and health is our first priority. Before any hair expert is selected to be on our team, they go through complete background check. We ensure that each hair stylist is also certified and regulated by their state BBC https://www.barbercosmo.ca.gov to perform haircuts.

Who are HairDressors’ hairstylist?

Our team of hairstylists is comprised of professionals that embody years of experience. They are freelancers that have displayed a robust talent and a sound level of commitment to their craftsmanship as hair experts.

How much does a haircut cost?

Our hair stylist set their own price point, so pricing does vary. The starting price for any standard haircut is typically around $35.00 to $45.00, but it all depends on your local hair stylist.

How do I pay for my service?

Paying for your grooming service is a breeze. We accept debit cards, all major credit cards except American Express, ACH Payment. Simply input your payment or credit information once you book your appointment.

How do I tip my Hair Stylist?

Whether you tip or not it is completely up to you. You can tip in cash when your Hairstylist completes the service.

What are the minimum working hours?

We are open for booking 24/7/365 but our hairstylist can work only between 8AM to 8PM Though there are no set minimum hours when you work as a mobile hairstylist with HairDressor you set your own hours, and work based on your schedule.

How much does a hairstylist get paid?

Our scale of share is 80% / 20% since you perform all of the tasks necessary to enhance the appearance of your client. Therefore, you keep up to 80% of your earnings and we get 20% as a convenience fees. At a typical barber shop the split works anything between 35% to 45%

What if the customer cancels the appointment?

Our standard appointment cancellation is within 12 hours If a customer cancels the appointment within 12 hours of the booking time, if the customer cancels appointment less than 12 hours, you will be given a certain 30% of the booking amount.

When will I get paid?

At HairDressor, payments are made weekly via direct deposit to your bank account. In case you don’t have an account then please make necessary arrangements to receive cheques to your valid address which you need to keep current at all times.

How much time do I have to respond to an appointment request?

Once a request has been made, you have One (1) Hour to respond. The customer may wait. However, failure to respond promptly can result in cancellation of the in-home hair services.

Is HairDressor available everywhere in United States & Canada?

We are currently available in only certain counties in California as we are testing the market availability, in the coming future we plan to expand everywhere in the USA & Canada.

How do customers find me?

Once you sign up as a Hairstylist with HairDressor, you are matched with active users who can see your profile and portfolio. Also, you can share your profile with your existing customers.

Who are HairDressors’ hairstylists?

HairDressors’ hairstylists are licensed professionals. They have worked at some of the most distinguished barbershops and salons. They are adequately trained and well equipped to deliver an outstanding styling experience.

Do I clean up the mess after the in-home service?

Yes, as per our policy, cleaning up after you have provided the requested services is required.

How can I communicate with the customer?

Your customer’s contact information will be provided within 4 hours prior to your scheduled appointment . Once provided, you may communicate with the client.

What if I am running late for my appointment?

If you are running late, you must contact the client immediately to advise them as they may wish to wait or cancel the appointment. If the scheduled appointment is cancelled due to the delays by the hairstylists then we do not charge the customer.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes, you may cancel the appointment. However, frequent cancellations will impact your rating in our system and reduce future appointment requests.

What if I don’t want to be a hairstylist with HairDressor?

We’re an employee owned company and pretty certain that you will love the freedom our ongoing service that we provide though we hate to loose you. However, if your interest and mind changes at HairDressor, you may cancel by emailing us at employment@hairdressor.com.
